This baseball font generator sets a team name in one of 5 brush scripts, ringed in a second colour over an underline swash. It opens on Benchwarmers in Lobster, red on cream. Type your team in Your text.

Pick the script
Lobster is bold and joined, with 162 ligatures to smooth the joins. Pacifico and Oleo Script are the heaviest and widest, and Oleo's letters never join. Kaushan Script lets its baseline jump on purpose. Yellowtail is the lightest, about a sixth narrower than Pacifico, and draws its e like a small capital E.
Ring, colours and file
Outline rings the letters in a second colour: Red in black, Sky blue in navy. For red ringed in navy, open More options and set Outline colour. Sticker makes the ring a white border. With the swash on, a Transparent file is still the whole 2400 by 1200 board; with Decoration on None it is cut to the lettering. Download SVG stays sharp at any print size.
Tips
- On Arch each letter is placed alone, so Lobster and Pacifico come unjoined. Oleo Script arches cleanest. Keep Bend low.
- Shirt numbers: Lobster, Kaushan Script and Oleo Script draw numerals as tall as capitals. Pacifico's stop at two thirds.
- Yellowtail's thin strokes let the ring crowd its loops. Under More options, slide Strength of the look left.
Questions and answers
Which one is a real team's font?
None. A professional club's chest lettering is that club's trademark, and no font here copies one. These are brush scripts in the same tradition: Yellowtail's description says it nods to 1930s type styles and sign painters' scripts. Type your own team's name, not a club's.
How do I add a tail under the name?
Underline swash is on from the start: a thin rule with a curl under the word, not the thick tail that grows out of a jersey's last letter, which this tool cannot draw. Under More options, Decoration swaps it for Stars, Frame or None.
Can it set accented or Cyrillic names?
All five hold é, ñ, ü, ö, ç and ø. Lobster and Kaushan Script add ł, š, ž, ğ, ą and ő; Oleo Script adds only ł. Only Lobster sets Cyrillic. A letter a font lacks is drawn in another font and sticks out.
