This script font generator draws your line in six casual scripts. The Font menu runs from the finest line to the heaviest brush: Allura, Sacramento, Parisienne, Dancing Script, Kaushan Script and Oleo Script. Type up to four lines.

From fine line to heavy brush
Set at one size, Oleo Script lays down almost three times the ink of Allura. For a fine line, stay at the top of the Font menu: Allura swells and thins like a pointed pen, and Sacramento keeps one hairline throughout. At the bottom, Kaushan Script is a rough brush and Oleo Script is bold and unjoined.
Hearts, neon and an invitation border
The page opens as a romantic font generator would: Parisienne in Blood red on Blush pink, with seven hearts round the words. New look deals another script and colours, such as Sacramento as a pink neon sign, and keeps the hearts. For an invitation, pick Frame under Decoration: a double ruled border with a dot at each corner.
Tips
- Plain is the thinnest any font goes. Pen weight, under Look, only adds ink.
- Sacramento's small letters are about four tenths of its capitals' height, so keep its lines short.
- Under Shape, Arch turns every letter, so joined scripts gap at the ends. Unjoined Oleo Script bends cleanly.
Questions and answers
How do I get script letters into a bio or a caption?
A bio takes only characters, so use the cursive text generator: it makes script you can copy and paste. This page draws a real font as a picture, and Copy picture pastes that into chats and documents.
What is a script font?
A font that imitates writing with a pen or a brush, with letters that join or nearly join. The six here are casual scripts, quick and personal. Formal pen scripts, the engraved invitation kind, are on the calligraphy page.
Where do these six scripts come from?
Their designer says Sacramento follows hand-lettered brochures of the 1950s and 1960s, and Parisienne a piece of 1960s commercial lettering. Dancing Script looks back to 1950s scripts. Kaushan Script was paid for by crowdfunding, and a backer suggested its name.
