A flat note, or eight sheets of thanks
A class thanking a teacher, a coach or a nurse can go big: set What goes on a page to One letter per page. That makes eight upright sheets, 1.73 m of US Letter or 1.68 m of A4, the T 125 mm tall in Fredoka's Bubble look. In that look One word per page makes two sheets; only You grows, to 69 mm.
Draw the whole phrase in four steps
With its space the phrase is nine characters, and the drawing strip holds ten, so nothing is cut. In More options, set Kind of sheet to How to draw it: pencil letters, a rounded outline, the pencil rubbed out, colour.
Tips
- Next style brings Mochiy Pop One, the other font whose a and o stay white in the Bubble look.
- In the other four the a shrinks to a dot or fills in; set Look to Hollow to open it.
Questions and answers
How do you draw thank you in bubble letters?
Pencil the eight letters with a finger of space between them. Go around each with one fat rounded line, so the T's bar and the k's arms turn into sausages. Leave a small ring inside the a and the o, then rub out the pencil.
How big is Thank You on one page?
The T is 32 to 51 mm tall in the Bubble look and 37 to 57 mm in Hollow. Bubblegum Sans and Chewy print tallest, Chango smallest. Typed on one line, the T drops to 26 mm in Fredoka's Bubble look.
Can I print Thank You as a folded card?
No. Thank is about 19 cm wide in Fredoka's Bubble look, and a sheet folded in half has a 14 to 15 cm front, so the crease would cross it. Send the sheet flat, or copy the letters onto a card from the drawing strip.
Can I add a name, like Thank You Teacher?
Yes. Put the name on a third line, under You. A short one such as Mia leaves the T 33 mm tall in Fredoka's Bubble look. Thank You on one line with the name below prints smaller.
