Copy the face, or just the glasses
For glasses emoji copy and paste, tap the second tile, one of eight with a plain text form behind the emoji or text style switch under More options. Search reads CLDR's words too, so professor finds Teacher and calculator finds Abacus. A skin tone, picked there too, applies to eight tiles.
What arrives, and what arrives in pieces
Glasses carries Emoji 0.6, the lowest label here, and Nerd face Emoji 1.0. Scientist, Technologist, Teacher and Student are each a person joined to an object. Unicode's emoji standard says a device with no drawing for the pair shows the halves, so Scientist turns up as a person and a microscope. (^0_0^), 8D and B^D are plain ASCII.
Tips
Of its ten CLDR words, Nerd face keeps six to itself: nerd, geek, clever, brainy, expert and gifted. Only Brain shares smart and intelligent.
Five emoji are filed under glasses. Four are here; the fifth is Clinking glasses, which correct nobody's vision. Goggles gets welding, scuba and swimming instead.
Atom symbol is not filed under science. Unicode keeps it in the religion subgroup, and CLDR lists atheist, atom and symbol.

What is the nerd emoji called?
Nerd face, in Unicode's character list and CLDR's short names alike. It is U+1F913, labelled Emoji 1.0, and takes no skin tone. Unicode keeps it in a subgroup of three called face-glasses, between Smiling face with sunglasses and Face with monocle.
How do I make the um, actually emoji?
It is two emoji: Index pointing up, U+261D, then Nerd face. The combo Um, actually copies both in order, and only the finger takes a skin tone. I know this one swaps in Person raising hand, which CLDR files under know, question and pick.
What is the letter with all the eyes?
Multiocular o, U+A66E, a Cyrillic letter. Unicode's names list records one use, the epithet many-eyed, and Wikipedia traces it to one 15th-century manuscript. The chart drew seven eyes until Unicode 15.0 gave it ten. A device with no Cyrillic Extended-B font shows an empty box.
