Which script stays joined under the Bubble look
Bubble sets letters 0.1 em apart to make room for the outline, and only the thickened fill bridges that gap. Out of 676 pairs of small letters, at the opening strength of 50: Pacifico joins 655, Sacramento 651, Cookie 577 and Lobster 456. Oleo Script joins 24: its letters stand apart even in plain type.
Keep the strength at 50, or pick Outline
Slide Strength of the look below 50 and a dark seam cuts each join: at 20 Cookie keeps 54 pairs, Lobster 91, Sacramento 14 and Pacifico 608. Outline and Candy stripes add no spacing, so each font keeps its own joins at any strength. Bubble also fills the loops of a, e and o. Outline leaves the o open in every font but Sacramento.
Tips
- In Pacifico a capital B, D, I, J, O, P or S never joins the letter after it.

Which cursive bubble letters font joins up best?
Pacifico. It keeps 655 of 676 pairs of small letters joined under Bubble at strength 50, and still 522 with the slider at 0. Sacramento matches it at 50 but falls to 12 at 0, because its pen is about a third as thick.
How do you draw bubble letters cursive style?
Write the word in joined-up handwriting first, large and with wide loops. Draw one outline round the whole word, a pen's width from the writing, without stopping at the joins. Rub out the writing inside, then add the holes of a, e and o last.
Can I make cursive fancy bubble letters?
