This sheet prints the alphabet in bubble letters: 26 capitals, A to Z, as fat outlines to colour in, cut out or copy. The ABC bubble letters open in Bagel Fat One, whose strokes all end round.

Which capitals keep their holes
A B D O P Q R have holes, eight with B's two, and a fat outline fills the smallest first. At the opening Strength of the look of 10, Bagel Fat One prints all eight white inside. Titan One keeps a slit in D, O and Q only; its A, B, P and R carry black marks. At 50, Bagel Fat One loses the same four.
How much room each capital needs
In Bagel Fat One, W is four times as wide as I. Copying a word by hand, give W half as much room again as most letters, M a quarter more, and I a third. Chewy and Lilita One put bars on the I, which then fills three quarters of a letter's room.
Tips
- Type a name to print just those letters in bubble letters: up to six come out 42 mm tall.
- Hollow under Look traces the font's own edge, so every hole stays open, even in Titan One.
- For solid letters to cut out, choose Black under Colours: Bubble then prints fat black shapes.
Questions and answers
How do I print bubble letters and numbers?
Print two sheets. Under Letters on the grid, Numbers 0 to 9 prints ten digits 32 mm tall, twice the letters' height, and Numbers 1 to 20 prints at 19 mm. For a few of each on one page, type them: ABC123 fills six boxes.
Which bubble letters alphabet font is easiest to copy by hand?
Bagel Fat One. Every stroke ends round and no letter has a sharp corner, so each shape is a bent sausage. Titan One squares its corners, Rubik Bubbles has a lumpy edge, and Chewy's strokes swell and thin like a brush.
How big do the letters print?
On the full sheet Bagel Fat One's capitals are 16 mm tall, and the six fonts run from 15 to 18 mm. Fewer letters print bigger: seven to twelve typed letters are 32 mm tall, two are 63 mm, and one alone is 119 mm.
