How it works
N in bubble letters is two posts and a slope. Fattened, the wedge above the slope and the wedge below it shrink to nicks, and what is left reads as an H. These six fonts keep the slope.

Six slopes
Fredoka opens the set. Its N is the same letter upside down, so the two wedges match, and each reaches almost half way in. Mochiy Pop One cuts the deepest wedges. Chango is wider than tall, with the shallowest slope. Bubblegum Sans is the narrowest. Chewy leans to the right. DynaPuff is the roundest, its wedges short.
Small n is an arch
Small n is a different shape: one short post and an arch over a single gap. That gap is what fattening closes. Type Noon in Your letters or words for both shapes in one word, capital in front and small n behind. Next style moves on to Mochiy Pop One, which keeps the gap widest.
Tips
- Turn your drawing upside down. A plain capital N still reads as N, so an uneven wedge shows at once.
- Mochiy Pop One draws its slope thinner than its posts. Copy that: a fat slope eats both wedges.

How do you draw a capital N in bubble letters?
Pencil two upright posts, then a slope from the top of the left post to the foot of the right one. Go round all three with one rounded outline. Push a wedge in above the slope and another below it, each to about the middle.
How do you draw a lowercase n in bubble letters?
Pencil a short post, then an arch from near its top over to the right and down to the line. Outline both as one shape. Leave the gap under the arch at least a pencil wide, or the n fills in.
Which way does the letter N in bubble letters slope?
Downhill as you read it: the slope runs from the top of the left post to the foot of the right one. Drawn the other way it is a mirror N. Check yours against the printed sheet before you ink the outline.
Why does my bubble letter N look like an H?
Both wedges have shrunk to nicks, and a fat H is a block with a nick above and below. In an N they lean: the top one points down to the right, the bottom one up to the left. Cut them deeper until that shows.
