This hindi font generator draws the Devanagari you type or paste in 4 fonts, conjuncts built and top line unbroken, and saves a PNG or an SVG. It does not translate. It opens on: hello, the tea is ready.

Four fonts, four jobs
By their makers' accounts: Yatra One copies the hand-painted signs of the Mumbai local railway. Tiro Devanagari Hindi is a book face modelled on the metal types of the Nirnaya Sagar Press. Kalam is handwriting, ball-point or thin felt-tip, steeply slanted. Rozha One is for posters: very thick strokes beside very thin ones. New look deals 16 presets.
Conjuncts, top line, digits
Devanagari hangs its letters from a line along the top, the shirorekha, and fuses consonants into conjuncts. To test a font, type ज्ञान, श्री, क्षमा and विद्या: all four build every one. Digits are drawn as typed, 2026 or २०२६, and every font holds ₹, ॐ and the danda (।).
Tips
- Arch and Bulge move each word whole, top line uncut: two words make a tent, five short ones a curve.
- All four cover Hindi, Marathi and Nepali, ळ included; only Tiro Devanagari Hindi has Sindhi's ॻ, ॼ, ॾ and ॿ.
- Card header: शुभ over विवाह, Gold under Look, then Every line full width and Frame in More options.
Questions and answers
Does it translate English, or turn namaste into नमस्ते?
Neither. It draws the characters it is given, so type with a Hindi keyboard or paste the Devanagari in. English stays English, and Yatra One cuts its Latin at a Devanagari brush angle. Have a Hindi speaker read anything bound for print or skin.
What do the ready-made lines say?
In order: hello, the tea is ready; good morning, good night, goodbye, thank you, thanks, welcome, congratulations, happy birthday (two ways), happy Diwali, auspicious wedding, truth alone triumphs (the national motto), love, peace, friend, life, knowledge, journey, open, closed. Each word was checked against Wiktionary.
Can I copy the text itself?
Not with the font. Copied text carries characters only, so pasted Hindi shows in whatever font the other app has, and software without complex text layout breaks the conjuncts apart. The PNG is already drawn; the SVG keeps live text with the font inside.
