One way to copy it
Exploding head has no skin tones and no plain text form, so it copies one way only. Three combos carry a hand or a person, and those follow the skin tone you pick under More options: Fun fact, No way and Take a bow.
What Unicode calls it
The formal name is Shocked face with exploding head, and it dates from Emoji 5.0. CLDR, the Unicode project's list of search words, files it under mind, blown and mindblown and gives those three words to no other emoji. It also lists no and way, a pair it shares only with Astonished face.
Tips
Collision is the only other emoji CLDR files under explode. Mind, blown pairs the two, and Wait for it lights a Firecracker first.
kaboom and Wahnsinn are plain ASCII and arrive anywhere text does. Wiktionary has Wahnsinn as German for madness and, colloquially, for wow.
On an older device Distorted face, from Emoji 17.0, is an empty box, and Head shaking horizontally, from 15.1, a smiling face beside an arrow.

What does the mind blown emoji mean?
Wiktionary defines blowing someone's mind as astonishing or flabbergasting them, and mindblown as mentally stunned or amazed. CLDR's search words add shocked. Neither source makes it a bad thing. For frightened shock, Face screaming in fear is the better pick; for plain delight, Star-struck.
Is there an explosion emoji?
Not by that name. No emoji in Unicode 18.0 is called explosion. The nearest is Collision, formally the Collision symbol, which CLDR files under explode, boom and comic. CLDR gives the word explosion itself to Bomb alone, and explosive to Firecracker alone.
Is there a boom emoji?
Five, by CLDR's search word boom: Collision, Bomb, Fireworks, Sparkler and Oncoming fist. The fist has it next to bump, bro and pound, which is the fist bump; Unicode's own gloss for the character is punch. All five are in the first group.
