Copy the face, or search the cabinet
For throw up emoji copy and paste, press Copy under the big character. Search reads Unicode names and CLDR search words, so puke finds Face vomiting and gesundheit finds Sneezing face. Pick a skin tone under More options and Health worker follows it, as do three of the combos.
What the other phone shows
Face vomiting dates from Emoji 5.0 and Bucket from 13.0, and a device with older fonts shows an empty box. Face with spiral eyes is two older emoji joined, Face with crossed-out eyes and Dizzy, and a device without the joined drawing shows the pair. :-###.. and X_X are plain ASCII and arrive anywhere. The last text face borrows the Tibetan letter ka, so it needs a font for that script.
Tips
For sick emoji copy and paste that commits to nothing, take Face with thermometer: the one emoji CLDR files under ill.
Disgust with no illness is Saw something gross: Eyes, then Face vomiting. Nauseated face works alone, since CLDR lists gross and nasty for it.
Replying to someone else who is ill, send Get well soon. It opens on Bouquet, so the flowers arrive before the thermometer does.

Which one is the vomit emoji?
Face vomiting, U+1F92E. CLDR, the Unicode project's list of search words for emoji, files it under barf, puke and spew, and under throw and up as two separate words. Nauseated face is the only other emoji given the word vomit.
Is there a fever emoji?
Face with thermometer is the picture of one, though CLDR gives it only face, ill, sick and thermometer. The word fever goes to Sneezing face and Mosquito, and feverish to Hot face. No emoji is filed under temperature.
Is there a sick bag emoji?
No. No emoji name or CLDR search word mentions one. The nearest container is Bucket, which CLDR files under pail, cask and vat, so the combo Bucket, please uses that. For the moment before, Bubbles is the only emoji CLDR files under burp.
