Each aesthetic roleplay template here is a blank form with a decorated edge: six forms, each in four styles, every field ending in a colon and a space. Some apps strip or block these characters, and screen readers may read them badly.

Six forms, four styles
Each style holds the same six forms: a short sheet of 7 fields, a full sheet of 15 under five headings, a one-line mini profile, a starter, a partner search and an about me card with three rules. Filter by style. Soft hangs the fields off a curved bracket, Starry alternates black and white four-pointed stars, Dark uses daggers and crescents, and Minimal is a corner and a wall.
Filling one in
Paste it, then type after each colon. Delete any line or heading you do not need: no template has a right-hand wall or a centred line, so nothing falls out of step and none needs a monospaced font. The largest, Starry full sheet, is 334 characters before you type.
Tips
For a group that reviews characters before play, post a full sheet. For a quick scene, the seven fields of a short sheet are enough.
Keep your real name, age, school and town out of the card and the chat that follows. A time zone is enough for Usually online.
Stuck on Rule 1? A common one bans god-modding: changing another writer's character without their consent.
Questions and answers
Will the template look the same after I paste it?
Mostly. Nothing relies on a fixed-width font or kept spaces. A box that reads Markdown may join the lines into one: end each line with two spaces, or put three backticks above and below. A character the font lacks shows as an empty box.
What goes in a roleplay character sheet?
The short sheet asks for name, age, pronouns, looks, personality, likes and dislikes. The full sheet adds species or role, abilities, strengths, flaws, backstory, relationships, a theme song and a face claim: fandom slang for the person, usually famous, a character is pictured as.
What is a starter in roleplay?
The opening post of a scene. Wikipedia's article on play-by-post games records that the first post of each scene typically lays down the scenario. The starter header holds setting, time, mood and who may join, with the first line under it.
What should an about me card say?
What to call you, pronouns, when you are around, how fast you reply, what you write and what you skip. Ours never asks for a real name, an age or a place. All 24 templates are profile and scene layouts and carry no adult wording.

How this list was compiled: Own work, built on 2026-09-19: six forms laid out in four styles, 24 templates, none copied from a template site or a community. No field asks for anything romantic or adult, and the about me card asks for a nickname and the hours someone is around, never a real name, an age or a place. Keep it that way in the chat that follows: a time zone is enough for Usually online. The 18 decoration characters come from 7 Unicode blocks (Latin-1 Supplement, Spacing Modifier Letters, General Punctuation, Box Drawing, Geometric Shapes, Miscellaneous Symbols, Dingbats; https://www.unicode.org/Public/18.0.0/ucd/Blocks.txt). Each was checked by script against the Unicode Character Database, version 18.0.0: names in https://www.unicode.org/Public/18.0.0/ucd/UnicodeData.txt, width classes in https://www.unicode.org/Public/18.0.0/ucd/EastAsianWidth.txt, the Emoji property in https://www.unicode.org/Public/18.0.0/ucd/emoji/emoji-data.txt, all read on 2026-09-19. None is East Asian Wide, none has the Emoji property, and no template changes under Unicode normalization. No template has a right-hand wall, a centred line, a line that starts with a space or two spaces together. A CommonMark parser (markdown-it-py 4.0.0, run again on 2026-09-20) read no markup into any of the 24, empty or filled in, but it returns each of the 20 multi-line templates as one paragraph whose line endings are soft breaks, and a browser shows a soft break as a space. In a box that reads Markdown those 20 can arrive as one run-on line. Two spaces at the end of every line, or a line of three backticks above and below, kept every line break in all 20 in the same parser. The four one-line mini profiles are not affected.
