What does ☆彡 mean?
A shooting star. Wikipedia's list of emoticons gives ☆彡 and ☆ミ that meaning. The star leads and the tail follows: 彡 is a Han character of three strokes, U+5F61, and ミ is Katakana letter mi. With the tail first, 彡☆, it flies the other way.
How do you type a star kaomoji on a keyboard?
Copy it, because no star character is in ASCII, so none of the 116 can be typed from ASCII alone. The rest of (^_-)-☆ is plain ASCII: two brackets, a caret, an underscore and two hyphens. Wikipedia's list of emoticons files it under wink.
Is ★ an emoji?
No. Neither ★ nor ☆ is on Unicode's emoji list, version 18.0. The emoji star is a separate character, U+2B50, which Unicode names White medium star, and no face here uses it.
