This fire text generator fills your words with a flame gradient, pale yellow at the top through orange to dark red at the foot, over a blurred orange glow. It opens in Bangers on black, with 6 more heavy fonts.

How the fire is drawn
The Fire look stacks two copies of your words. Behind, an orange copy is blurred and lifted, so the glow rises above the letter tops. In front sits the gradient with a thin brown outline. Strength of the look, in More options, sets how wide the blur is.
Seven heavy fonts
Thick strokes show every colour of the gradient and thin ones a sliver, so all seven fonts are heavy. Bangers has capitals only and leans forward. Anton is tall and narrow. Both set a phrase about 30% narrower than Alfa Slab One, so long phrases come out larger. Black Ops One is a stencil, and its gaps cut through the fire. Each typed line gets the whole gradient.
Tips
- On Transparent the glow stays see-through, so the PNG blends into a dark thumbnail. Background is in More options.
- Print draws outlines to save ink. For fire on paper, untick Print as an outline (saves ink) in More options.
- For ł, š or ğ, pick Russo One, Titan One or Alfa Slab One. The other four fonts lack them.
Questions and answers
Does the fire move?
No. This page saves a still picture, a PNG or an SVG, and nothing on it animates. For motion, the animated text generator has a Flame colours preset.
Why is it yellow at the top and red at the foot?
It is a real flame upside down. Wikipedia's article on flame puts white nearest the fuel and the cooler red highest of all. The yellow is glowing soot; with enough air no soot forms and the flame turns blue.
Can I change the colour of the fire?
Not inside the Fire look, which brings its own colours. Ice runs white to deep blue. Pick Soft glow, Neon glow or Two-colour fade under Look and a Colours menu joins More options, with Flame, Gold, Red, White and Neon cyan.
Can I use fire text on a logo or a shirt?
Yes. The fonts are open-licence and the picture is yours, also on things you sell. For a print shop, send the PNG: the SVG draws the glow with a blur filter, which some design programs ignore, so test it first.
