The letter I in bubble letters has one problem: fattened, a plain capital I is a pill that could be a small l or a 1. This set opens in a font that keeps its two bars.

Capital I: two bars or a pill
Three of the six fonts draw capital I with a bar top and bottom: Bubblegum Sans, Chewy, which leans, and Lilita One, whose slab bars are the clearest. They come first. Fredoka and Bagel Fat One make the I a smooth pill, and Mochiy Pop One a leaning bar. Those three read as I only inside a word.
Print it, change font, go big
Print 3 pages gives the six fonts, four drawing steps and one big outline to colour. Type a word such as Ice in Your letters or words and all three pages redraw around it. Next style changes the font. In More options, Banner pages prints I and i on a page each.
Tips
- By hand, pencil the dot higher than usual. The outline adds width all round, so a close dot merges.
- A single capital I, as in the word I, needs its two bars. Without them it prints as a sausage.

How do you draw a bubble letter I?
Pencil a thin upright line with a short bar across the top and the bottom, draw one rounded outline around the whole shape, then rub out the pencil. Keep the bars short: the outline widens them. Page two of the set shows the steps.
How do you draw a lowercase i in bubble letters?
Draw a short pill for the stem and a separate circle above it, with a gap as wide as your outline. On screen the Bubble look joins dot and stem into a bowling-pin shape. Change Look to Hollow and the dot floats free.
How do I tell a bubble letter I from a small l or a 1?
By the bars. Give capital I a short bar top and bottom, leave small l bare, and give 1 a flag. In Bagel Fat One the I and the l of Igloo are one pill, so pick Lilita One for such words.
