How it works
The letter E in bubble letters is a spine, three arms and two gaps. The Bubble look fattens every stroke, so a narrow gap swells shut: four of thirteen round fonts turn E into a block. These six keep both.

Big E in six fonts
Five of these six print each gap as a black bar, where two outlines touch. Chango's E is wider than it is tall. Mochiy Pop One tilts its arms like brush strokes. Bubblegum Sans is the thin one. DynaPuff puffs until its gaps are two notches. A lower Strength of the look, in More options, opens the bars into white gaps.
Lowercase e and the big outline
Small e is the harder half: its eye survives only as a slit. Page two is four pencil steps, page three one large outline, and Next style redraws both in the next font. For big bubble letters, E on one sheet and e on the next, set Kind of sheet to Banner pages in More options.
Tips
- Practice page, under Kind of sheet, prints a solid E and two rows of dashed ones to trace.
- Fredoka draws the middle arm shorter than the other two and the E still reads. Borrow that when cramped.
Questions and answers
How do you draw a bubble letter E?
Pencil a thin spine with three arms pointing right, spaced wider than looks natural. Trace one rounded outline around all four strokes, dipping in between the arms. The outline adds width on every side, so close arms merge. Rub out the pencil and colour.
Why does the lowercase e in bubble letters lose its hole?
Its eye is narrower than the edge the Bubble look adds. By hand, a short dash will do. On the printout, set Look to Hollow and the eye prints white in all six fonts, though Baloo 2 then shows the seams where its strokes overlap.
Can I use the printed E on something I sell?
Yes. All six fonts are under the SIL Open Font License. Its FAQ allows any kind of design work, says what you make is yours and requires no credit.
How do I letter a whole word, not only an E?
