Love in cursive font by font
Sacramento, Dancing Script and Cookie run one stroke through l-o-v-e. Parisienne lifts before the e, Allura after the o. All five join y-o-u; none joins a capital L to its o. Sacramento's o, v and e stand a third as tall as its capitals, and its y drops nearly twice that far below the line.
The capital I that reads as a J
Parisienne, Sacramento and Cookie draw the looped capital I of school cursive, easy to take for a J. Their I sits on the line; their J drops half a capital's height below it. Allura and Dancing Script bar the I instead. In eleven faces it is a bare stroke, which Indie Flower and Gochi Hand draw a fifth shorter than the l beside it.
Tips
- I love you fills at most five sixths of a row, so every face prints at full height. A longer line shrinks Sniglet first.
Questions and answers
What makes a cute love font?
Small letters nearly as tall as the capitals, and heavy round strokes. In DynaPuff and Baloo 2 the o, v and e stand about four fifths as tall as the capitals, against a third in Sacramento. Page two holds six faces built that way.
Which font for I love you on a card?
For a fancy love font, Parisienne or Allura, whose hairlines want a pointed pen if you copy them. For a note that looks handwritten, Caveat or Kalam on page three. Sacramento keeps one stroke weight, so a gel pen copies it.
Can I add a heart?
You can type one, but none of these 24 fonts holds a heart, so your browser borrows it from another font on your device and it will not match the row. Leave a space and draw it in after printing.
How do I print one love font style big?
Set Kind of sheet to Banner pages, under More options. I, love and you each take a page. The Font menu picks the face, and Next style steps through all 24.
Can I copy and paste love in cursive?
Not from here: each row is a drawing. Letters that paste come from Unicode, which has a script alphabet and a bold script one. Some apps strip or block these characters, and screen readers may read them badly.
